Brown School Community Card - Lots of Davis Square discounts.Back at ArtBeat this year, I got a chance to do something I’ve been meaning to for a while; pick up a Brown School Community Card. This very cool fundraiser provides the local school some extra funds ($10 for a card, extra donations very welcome), while providing you with some extra savings at a bunch of Davis Square businesses.   • Boston Burger Company – 10% off entire purchase (37 Davis Square)
  • Bostonian Florist – 10% off floral arrangements (92 Highland Ave)
  • Dave’s Fresh Pasta – 10% off purchase excluding alcohol or sale items (81 Holland St.)
  • Diva – 15 % off food at dinner only, not valid for lunch; beverage, tax and gratuity not included. (246 Elm St.)

The discount at Blue Shirt Cafe by itself makes it worth it for me – I get smoothies and burritos from here pretty much constantly. There are tons of food discounts (real restaurants as well as cafes and casual dining) in the area, and some fun discounts at entertainment venues like Johnny D’s ($3 off admission; sweet!) and Sacco’s Bowling.
