Back at ArtBeat this year, I got a chance to do something I’ve been meaning to for a while; pick up a Brown School Community Card. This very cool fundraiser provides the local school some extra funds ($10 for a card, extra donations very welcome), while providing you with some extra savings at a bunch of Davis Square businesses. Check it (my favorites bolded):

The discount at Blue Shirt Cafe by itself makes it worth it for me – I get smoothies and burritos from here pretty much constantly. There are tons of food discounts (real restaurants as well as cafes and casual dining) in the area, and some fun discounts at entertainment venues like Johnny D’s ($3 off admission; sweet!) and Sacco’s Bowling.
All the use at Blue Shirt recently reminded me of this. If you’re interested, you can get one at Mr. Crepe, right across from the CVS.
